The most famous one is the church of BASILICA OF BOM JESUS, which tourists never fail to visit is the Basilica of Bom JESUS in Old Goa which was built in 1605. India is proud of. Basilica of Bom Jesus has now been declared a World Heritage Monument. The sacred relics of St.Francis Xavier are kept in this church. St.Francis Xavier, patron saint of Goa, died while on a sea voyage to China on December 2, 1552. As per his wishes, the following year, while transferring his remains to Goa, it was found that the saint's body was as fresh as the day it was buried. This miraculous phenomenon continues to attract the devout from all lands, and an Exposition or public viewing of his body every ten years attracts lakh of Pilgrims.
Spice plantations - Spending a day in the Spice plantations in Goa is another great idea, where you will get some important information and a sort of educative entertainment along with a brilliant ethnic lunch served at the spot.
Shri Mangesh Temple - also popularly known as Mangireesh or Manguesh-- is the Presiding Diety at one of Goa's most prominent temples. Shri Mangesh is the Kuladevata (family deity) of millions of Hindu GSBs around the world.
The temple of Shri Mangesh is set amidst natural beauty and pleasant surroundings. Mangeshi, a little village along Goa's Panaji-Ponda road is not only a point of pilgrimage for the followers of the Lord, it attracts hundreds of tourists from all over India and abroad.
Evening Boat cruise at MANDAVI RIVER.
Afterwards drive back to hotel.
Overnight at hotel.
Morning after breakfast transfer to airport to board flight for Mumbai. On arrival remain in transit to board flight for onward destination.
